i took a long piece of cardboard and cut it up. i also added tape to it and ripped it off in a pattern to get different textures

wanted to cover a section of the floor in red tape to create a different reaction. 

Tape Leaf (nature)

used tape to create a leaf. I then cut out the word nature in the center. cutting out the word nature is meant to be ironic because of the loud red tape contrasting with the green in nature.

Contemporary Drawing Project 1 'combo drawings'

 For the first combo drawing i used the Letters Y, E, S, G and M. (yellow tail, eye, saturn, graffiti, and Manhatten). I aiming to make an abstract sense were the kangaroo was jumping over saturn which was in the eye. then surrounded it with graffiti forms. then added the manhatten skyline in the backround.

I really enjoyed doing this one. for my second drawing I took the two music themes i had in the Red hot chili pepper and the Black Keys and combined their logos. Then i added bass chords from Frank Sinitra 'Flay me to the Moon'
